About
Growing up immersed in horror movies and war films ignited my passion for special effects from an early age, shaping my career trajectory. Pursuing my interest, I attended Joe Blascoe's School for Makeup and Special Effects, where I honed my skills and knowledge. Despite initial enthusiasm, my ardor for the industry waned until a serendipitous encounter with the director-writer duo Midnight Studios in Baltimore reignited my creative spark.
Inspired by their distinctive style, I made the bold move to New Zealand, where I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity at Wētā Workshop by Richard Taylor himself. Since then, I have thrived in this dynamic environment, contributing as a versatile professional in roles spanning from freelance Designer and Project Supervisor to Art Director and Fear Engineer.
My journey reflects a lifelong dedication to the art of visual storytelling through innovative and captivating special effects.
